Which faction is the hardest to beat and which faction is the easiest to beat, in your opinion. France, HRE, Venice, Poland, and Hungary tend to be extremely hard to actually beat in a late game. Shogun 2: In the vanilla game, the Uesugi have a rough starting position. I think the Otomo get it worse though, as their religion causes severe penalties with their neighbors. Rome II: Ardiaei. They are legendarily abysmal. Attila: It would be easiest to name the factions that AREN'T difficult to play. The Sassanids.

Don't know if this is an easter egg, or just a technical shortcut for graphics, but I thought it was cool. In Medieval 2, a Vassal simply becomes your military ally with military access and trade routes. The vassal in question also gives up a portion of it's income to the protector nation. The vassal can still backstab you in Medieval 2 and there's no benefit due to not gaining any control over their armies or cities. Best to just whipe 'm out instead, qF1JG.
