Update on OBD Port. The port is more or less in the same place as in the original, but now hidden behind a piece of trim, as Dave indicated above, not under the ashtray. I can see the piece of trim getting scratched and/or damaged if it's removed frequently. I used two small electrical screw drivers to initially release the panel.
